Workshops

and collaborations

We organise workshops in collaboration with NGO’s to provide students with limited means, an opportunity to develop knack for science, problem solving ability, analytical thinking and practical skills to help them nurture and grow.

(We are open to conduct workshops in schools and institutions. For any information or for collaboration contact us.)

Workshop 1
Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence Workshop

The program implementing a well-researched plan to spread AI talent at global tech hubs for applications in practical decision-making. Our focus is on imparting education on AI since industry peers surmise that AI will dominate all other IT platforms for decades to come. In this workshop the basics of modern AI as well as some of the representative applications of AI were covered.

The conceptual discussion includes topics like ML vs Statistical Modelling and Supervised and Unsupervised Learning. While the practical session will include algos used in supervised and unsupervised learning to solve real world problems. We discussed the advantages and disadvantages of each algorithm along with its application so that learners know what to apply and when to apply.

Tricky Circuits Workshop
Tricky Circuits Competition

To inculcate the vibe of competance and spread the idea of importance of STEM, the team in collaboration with INVICTUS - DTU organised a Tricky Circuits competition for the college students.

The team DTU-AUV believes in quality education and equal opportunities for all. We believe that students should be given exposure, right from their formative years, to be able to decide the career they want to pursue and excel at it. We believe that quality education is key to help build a more influential, equal and socially conscious society. Team DTU-AUV is a research and development based team composed of students from a multi-disciplinary background, specializing in the creation of underwater systems, especially an Autonomous Underwater Vehicle and are based out of Delhi Technological University, India. We work on STEM( Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) technology, and believe that students need both inspiration as well as the right guidance, along with the right kind of education, both practical and theoretical. Since the team comprises of students from the engineering background, we realise the gap that exists between the classroom teaching and the industrial demands, we are determined to bridge the gap between the two by teaching the students, from the very basic theory to hands on experience on projects. We can conduct a series of workshops, for the students who have an inclination towards technology that provide emphasis on the core fundamentals along with experiments to provide a hands on experience and to further develop interest.

The workshops that we offer are:

  1. Arduino
  2. Solidworks and basic designing
  3. Coding

Inspiration is the factor that drives people to great success, hence we plan to provide the students with the tour to explore our University and the DTU AUV Team Lab(Supported by the Department of Ocean Development M.E.S. Government of India)

Workshops organised in various schools

The team beleives that spreading awareness about what advancements are taking place in the fields of sceince and technology. Every year we conduct a number of school workshops to promote such activities and also give school students a sight of exactly what kind of environment they face when they go for higher studies.
